When I was a boy I would tear pictures I liked out of magazines, newspapers etc and put them in a scrapbook. But when my Dad gave me his old Minolta SR-T 201 SLR and a 58mm f/1.2 Rokkor X Lens, I tried to make the images I loved so much using his film camera. As a Fashion Photographer, I use a digital SLR, although I still prefer to shoot film when Iâ??m not working. I love photographing people, and Iâ??ve been in love with Fashion ever since my grandma taught me how to sew. At University, I studied Architecture, but I also studied Fashion Design and Ladies Footwear Design, but I was not to work in the Fashion Industry until many years later. I hope to use my skills as a Photographer to promote Eco, Ethical and Sustainable Fashion and to demonstrate that it can be every bit as exciting and innovative as Haute Couture. Ted D. Chan
