Born and brought up in a punjabi family in New Delhi, the capital of India. In 9th standard of her school, she realised for her interest in acting and modeling. So started participating in dramatics. She did her graduation from Kamala nehru College, Delhi university. Being an all rounder, she participated in fashion shows, inter college dramatic competitions, later on theatre etc.
