PRIYANKA NISHITH JOIS, born on the 16th of November 1988 in Shimoga district, is now a proud resident of the garden city Bengaluru, from the year 2008, after marriage. Having a passion for music, she chose to take up Carnatic Music as her first stepping stone. After completing her Junior, under the able guidance of Vidhwan Sri Sringeri Nagaraj in Shimoga and Senior, under the proficient guidance of Vidhushi M.A.Meera in Bangalore, she is keeping her passion alive by pursuing Vidhwath. She has been giving concerts in Carnatic music in and around her city. She has also been awarded the title 'Radio City Super Singer' in the year 2012. Being a versatile singer, singing Kannada, Hindi and English numbers has also been a part of her interest. Making her track into the world of playback, she has sung a melodious song 'Smile eruvanthe' in the Kannada movie, "Simple Aagi Ondh Love Story", which happens to be the very first digital movie in the Kannada film industry. Her second project was for another Kannada movie, "Money Honey Shani", a groovy song 'Harokke Rekke Beku'. She has also been a part of an innovative venture in the Kannada movie industry, an audio-visual "Kichhu" dedicated to the well-known actor Sudeep. A melodious track sung by her in the first ever Kannada 3D horror movie 'Aakramana' stands released.
